Pregnant Female Excellenz Martien,
Martien is a female huacaya and she has 2 colours: Dark fawn and medium brown. The pattern is very unusual, the background is probably an Appaloosa gene. Her genetic background is excellent, and her fleece is dense and fine. Her birth weight was 11 kg. She is the friendliest alpaca we have had so far, always comes up for a ‘cuddle', but is not too close to be annoying. She walks easily on the halter.

Pregnant female Aura Murbella
Murbella is a young female with a very good genetic background. She gave birth to her first cria in December 2009 and is a very good mother. She is very gentle, halter trained and well grown out. Colour is dark fawn.
Mated to Canchones Stanislavski, a fawn suri. Due 9 January 2011.

Pregnant female Aura Bonaire
Our reason for buying Bonaire where the black genetics in her background. Her sire is a black huacaya male from Canchones. On her dam side she has Jolimont bloodlines. The black background is the reason for her lack of fineness in her fleece, as the Jolimont line gives her fineness in her genetic makeup. Her fleece has a very good handle and a nice shine.Her first cria is Excellenz Formosa (see above), her second cria is a solid black suri male, born 27 January 2010, named Quero.

Maiden Excellenz Formosa, IAR 141431, DOB: 13/01/2009
Formosa is a maiden female with a special, very curly, fine (17 micron) fleece. Her colour is medium brown and she has 2 white socks on her front legs. Apart from that she is solid in colour. She has a good genetic background, including Canchones and Jolimont to mention a few names. She is friendly, easy to handle and halter trained. Her frame is very solid.

Pregnant female Aura Mael
Mael is a large, sturdy fawn female with an excellent genetic background. She has a good conformation. She is easy to handle, friendly and halter trained. Her fleece is not fine, but the handle is still very good. Mated to Aviana Farms Upshaw, a heterozygous black suri, due 5 April 2010. Upshaw is black and we suspect that Mael has a grey gene, so her next cria can be very interesting!
