As well as concentrating on White suris, we have a black suri breeding program. As the color side of breeding has not been refined as yet, this is a more challenging part as the results are less predictable.

Cayarah Olympia is the first black suri female we bought. She is an F1, her sire is suri, but her dam a huacaya. She is a lovely, sturdy female who obviously is the head of our herd, she looks after the whole group.

In November 2008 her cria, Excellenz Nero Cadiz, was born. Cadiz is sired by Canchones Silvester, a black suri male imported from Australia. Cadiz is a BC1, as he is second generation suri. We think it is obvious he has more suri then his dam, his fleece is more suri-like then hers. He has nice pencilling and is very dense.
